life, our resort has a lot to offer all types of travellers and holiday makers. All rooms are customizable to meet
everyone's needs; extra beds are available for extra guests if needed, and packages are available.
2. Alright, so what extras do I have compared to other similar/higher priced resorts ??

3. So, Ok.... you've convinced me - but what about your location ??
Right on the Beach. A White Sandy beach. Away from the main road. A stroll to 7-11 and other convenience
stores. A few steps to a colorful market. Nearby many restaurants, bars and nightlife attractions. Down the road
from the Muay Thai centre. Located between large brand name resorts. Walking distance to International schools.
A short ride to the main town of Saladan. On the closest beach to the car and passenger ferry arrivals/departures.
Within close distance of all tourist hot spots, emergency centres, health clinics, police stations, tour offices and bus
stations.
Being at the south end of Klong Dao, our guests have the choice of two beaches for swimming, strolling or
eating and drinking; Long Beach and Klong Dao Beach, with everything being within walking distance!
4. Hmmm... What makes your resort so different in style ??
We have a traditional Asian-Contemporary Boutique theme that runs through our resort. No cement box
bungalows or adjoining rooms here. All villas and suites have an artistic approach to them, with interior and exterior
design cues inspired by Thai-Bali-Chinese styles. All rooms are detached from one another and all with private
fenced, green turfed gardens. Architecturally designed rooms with a new, yet traditional approach. Each room is
built using local and country Thai traditional products, while maintaining a comfortable room that is as airtight, insect
free and with amenities as modern as possible.
5. Do you have any good restaurants nearby? Or nice bars to just chill out and have fun?
As mentioned previously, being on the south end of Klong Dao Beach, it situates our resort in the middle of the two
main popular beaches of the island; Klong Dao Beach and Long Beach (Phra Ae), and also very close to Saladan.
So in all directions, there are many places to eat and drink, for all ages and at all budgets.
Apart from our own Katana Coffee Lounge, our Focus Restaurant servicing the resort and room service, and our
360 Bar, of course ;) other notable places close by (within walking distance or 5 min motorbike ride) are:
Time For Lime Restaurant & Bar (Cooking School), Da's Kitchen (Indian Fusion), The Tavern (BIG meals), Gong
Grit Restaurant (next door - one of the best on the beach), Layana Resort's Restaurant & Bar (5 star food), Lanta
Seafood & Saladan Seafood Restaraunts (authentic taste), Don's Restaraunt (go for the steak), Easy Bar & Food
(European influenced), Picasso Pub & Restaurant (good place for the kids to enjoy), Royal Lanta Coffee Shop
(nice setting), Islander's Coffee Shop (good bakery), Mr Wee Pizzeria (good pizzas), Red Snapper (go for the
tapas), Moonwalk Bar (chilled), Retro Restaraunt (very cool building style), Mr Green (open till very late), German
Bakery (fantastic), Thai Orchid Restaraunt (just dined recently - great service, great food).
Also, be sure not to miss the local Thai food by the roadsides (stroll outside, turn right, walk about 60 metres) near
our resort....you won't know what your missing until you try some authentic home style cooking.
Just be sure to ask for "Mai Ped" (not too spicy).
6. I have heard so much about your Spa! Why is it so special?
Basically because it has great services, with lowprices! Our spa therapists and beauty consultants are highly
trained from Bangkok and Hong Kong Technical Colleges. Most of our specialized therapies cannot be found
anywhere else on the island.
We also give 10% discount to all of our resort guests ;-)

The passenger ferries leave from the main piers of Krabi, Ao Nang, Phuket, and Phi Phi on a scheduled basis to
Koh Lanta in the High Season (October-April). Prices start from around 350 Baht per person, one way. All local tour
agents can help you to buy tickets, or you can purchase tickets at the pier. Most ferries leave before midday.
There are also ferry services to and from smaller destinations such as Koh Mook, Koh Nhai, Koh Lipe and Langkawi
to Koh Lanta, in the High Season (October-April). Ask local tour operators for full details, schedules and information.
From the ferry pier in Saladan, Koh Lanta, you can very easily arrange a taxi to pick you up, by booking this pick up
transfer with your reservation, on our online booking system on this site. Prices are 50 Baht per person, infants free.
Join Minivan Service (All Year):
Alternatively, you can catch a minivan/bus to our resort. Minivans leave from Krabi, Ao Nang, Phuket and Trang.
All tour agents and operators can help you buy a ticket, or you can purchase tickets at the bus station/airport.
Prices start from 250 Baht per person, one way. When in Koh Lanta, simply inform the driver that you want to go to
Ancient Realm Resort & Spa. There is no need to book in advance for minivans/buses.
From Krabi airport, the minivans leave every hour up until 4pm. You can catch them right outside the
arrivals exit, as you walk towards the carpark. It is best to get a flight in the morning, or at the latest a
flight that lands up until, or a little after 3pm. The price is about 350 Baht per person.
From all other places in Thailand and Malaysia, large-seater VIP buses will connect you to the above mentioned
minivans to get to Koh Lanta. These buses can be booked from all stations or good local tour agents.
*** All minivans, cars, taxis & private pickups get to the island on the car ferries. There is no need to disembark. ***

offer very inexpensive services from our resort to Krabi Airport, Krabi Town, Phuket Airport and Phuket Town

9. I also want to hear what other people have to say about you. Where can I find such reviews?
Our Guestbook is written by our previous guests. Click Here for more information.
10. I'm ready to book, do I pay a deposit for my room ??
Yes, because of our very competitive prices and our limited rooms available, we do require 50% deposit on all
reservations. All resorts always take deposits (sometimes even full payment many months in advance; to secure
guests' good room positions and advance booking low prices). Tour agents also take deposits and/or credit card
guarantees or full payment when booking. Airlines will also take full payment for your holiday travel in advance.....
11. I'm worried about credit card info sent over the 'net. Do you use secure servers for online booking?
Yes, our online booking system uses encrypted Secure Server technology licensed by Globekey KeyRes.
We also can accept PayPal as a form of payment on some selected services. PayPal Fees Apply.
12. Can I see your Cancellation Policy ?
Of course. Click Here.
