High Season in Koh Lanta starts and finishes on different dates, depending on the resort that you are
staying at.... Normally it starts around October/November and finishes during April.
November 1st is the official starting date of the High Season at Ancient Realm Resort & Spa, and this
season runs through until April 30th. The High Season brings a dry and very warm climate. There are
also more travellers during this season, so many activities, tours and services from different
companies are available. A wider choice of bars and restaurants are also open on Koh Lanta at this
time.
The Peak Season starts from December 15th, extending through until January 15th, year after year.

While the nightly rate does increase from the Green Season and Mid Season (this is standard globally),
we think we have found a good balance between value, features, amenities, service, inclusions
(many!) and of course quality of stay; and have passed the good value and low prices onto our guests.
Our past (and recurring!) guests' feedback and reviews reflect this. We would like to use this
experience we have gained, and keep this same focused attitude towards our pricing strategy in the
future also!

....For Christmas 2011, we have a compulsory Gala Dinner for all guests staying in the resort over the
night of the 24th Dec. It will be a huge feast; a big "all you can eat" buffet party with fireworks, free
chocolates, drinks, desserts and Christmas presents for everyone! :-)
On New Year's Eve, we will also have a similar 'Special Dinner Buffet', which is also compulsory for
guests staying on the 31st Dec. Guests will receive a similar menu as Xmas, loaded with free extras,
and also receive a very nice surprise at midnight!
Please note, private parties/dinners/functions/BBQs can also be arranged for all guests, at any time, no
matter how many people!
On a side note.... We book out very fast here at Ancient Realm. Our bookings for the next High and
Peak seasons started as early as January this year, for the next following year! So if you are looking at
staying with us, please make a confirmed reservation, or a reservation request, or an inquiry as soon
as you can, to avoid disappointment....

Ancient Realm Resort & Spa has had an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC past 5 years, and we have had the
privilege to meet many wonderful guests from all nationalities and walks of life! For our last two
seasons, which will actually be our final seasons in this particular location (we will move resort
locations for 2013, with a soft-opening 2012), we hope we can see everyone again, and wish to see
some new faces also! If you want to experience Ancient Realm, Klong Dao, now is the time to do it!!! ;-)
We will not be moving far, we are heading down to the south of the island, to another fantastic beach!
Plans and construction is now well underway to reopen bigger and better than ever ...again! ;-)
So....we have decided to go out... for our two remaining seasons... with a BANG!!!!.........
We have massively discounted our prices down to a fraction of the previous years! Up to 40% OFF! We
will also of course keep our resort in top condition right up until the move (Ancient Realm decoration
will always be Ancient Realm decoration!), and there are many new ideas being implemented all the
time... (see our FaceBook Page for regular updates) ...in all areas of the resort !!!

- Huge Spa Extension Plans - New 100sqm Big Beach Front Day Spa AND our Garden Day/Night Spa!
- Reopening of Coffee Shop - Repositioned also to in front of Pool Area, with extra platform seating!
- Sunchair, Gazebos, Salas & Seating completely redesigned with decoration sourced from Chiang Mai!
- New Reception/Tours Area - Extensions and Upgraded Business Centre!
- Management Changes - Clint & Suki back at the helm of day to day operations! ;-)
